We approach mechanical design in five core areas, keeping manufacturability in view at every stage.

3D Design and Analysis

We design your parts and products in a full 3D environment and validate the design through analysis before anything is manufactured. Dimensions, tolerances and part-to-part fit are checked digitally, so problems are caught before the prototype stage — saving both time and cost.

Industrial Design

A product has to work well — and it also has to look and feel right. We consider form, ergonomics and real usage scenarios together, bringing technical requirements and aesthetic expectations into a single design that feels like a finished product in your hands.

3D Modelling with CAD-CAM

We build our models in CAD-CAM tools with manufacturing in mind from the very start. The resulting 3D models are not just visuals — they are technical data that production can use directly, so the hand-off from design to manufacturing needs no extra translation step.

3D-Printed Prototyping

Seeing a design on screen and holding it in your hand are two different things. We produce rapid prototypes on 3D printers and test form, assembly and usability on a real part. Feedback from the prototype flows straight back into the design before production.

Machining-Oriented Design

Parts headed for production are designed around the realities of machining. Machinability, tool access and tolerances are considered at the design stage, so what reaches the workshop is a manufacturable part — not a drawing that only works on paper.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about mechanical design

Do you take on single-part or low-volume jobs?

Yes. There is no minimum project size for our mechanical design and prototyping work — we bring the same care to a single 3D-printed prototype part. Scope and steps are agreed together at the start of the project.

What do I need to provide to get started?

A sketch, an existing product or even a verbally described idea is enough to begin. CAD data is not required — we clarify the dimensions, constraints and requirements together and build the 3D model ourselves. If you already have CAD data, the process moves even faster.

What do I receive at the end of the work?

Depending on your needs, you receive the 3D CAD model of the product, production-oriented technical data and, within the agreed scope, a 3D-printed prototype. The exact deliverables are defined together at the start of the project.

Can you handle the mechanical design of electronic products as well?

Yes. At ESDEV TEKNOLOJİ, electronics, software and mechanics work as one team. Board dimensions, connector placement and enclosure design are handled together — the board and the housing are designed as one from the start, not forced to fit afterwards.
